ADUD is a U.S.-based nonprofit and nonpartisan organization created in 2014 to unite and empower the African diaspora, strengthen communities, and build trusted bridges for collaboration and development with Africa.
What is ADUD Nexus?
ADUD Nexus is ADUD’s flagship year-round umbrella platform for network and partnership exchange, dialogue, civic leadership, project development, and recognition.
Is International Exchange a program?
Yes. International Exchange & Public Diplomacy is classified as an ADUD Strategic Program under the Programs menu.
Are BBB and Engage–Connect current flagship programs?
They are presented as legacy and community initiatives. Their history and evidence remain visible, while current programming is organized through ADUD Nexus and the strategic exchange program.
Can organizations join without losing their independence?
Yes. ADUD’s platform model is designed so participating organizations retain their own identity, mission, leadership, and operational independence.
How does ADUD protect privacy?
ADUD applies consent, data minimization, appropriate access controls, responsible media use, safeguarding, and verification before publishing sensitive information or stories.
